Challenge Fund Campaign
A generous anonymous donor who believes deeply in the mission of the Good Hart Artist Residency has established a Challenge Fund to help secure our future. The donor has provided $60,000 upfront and will contribute an additional $69,000 once we raise $200,000 in new and increased support by October 27, 2027.
This opportunity will strengthen GHAR’s operations and make it possible to hire a full-time Executive Director and a part-time Program Facilitator, ensuring the residency’s continued impact on artists and our community.
Over the years, we have hosted over 120 artists, writers, and composers either as official residents or visiting artists. It has been our privilege to do this with the support of this community. We are grateful! We look forward to moving this organization forward to a sustainable future with your help.

What your donation funds:
- $90,000 funds the annual cost of an Executive Director.
- $22,000 funds a part-time program facilitator.
- $7,500 covers the cost to host one resident.
- $5,000 covers the cost of our selection process and juror stipends
- $500 covers a resident’s stipend
- $350 covers groceries for one resident
- $300 covers supplies for a resident to visit to a school and offer a workshop
