
Sarah Furman – Executive Director
Sarah is our executive director of the Good Hart Artist Residency after years of working in public education. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, where she double majored in English Literature and Mathematics, and she has a master’s degree in Curriculum and Teaching from Michigan State University. Her favorite days are spent outside with her daughters, Elizabeth and Josephine.
Sue Klco – Founder and Board Chair
(100% Volunteer)
Sue is the founder and current Board Chair of the Good Hart Artist Residency. She is a retired biologist and high school science teacher. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Education from the University of Missouri Kansas City.


Bill Klco
(100% Volunteer)
Bill is the current Director of Operations for the Good Hart Artist Residency. He is a retired technology executive having worked for several medical-related software companies over his 35-year career. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from Ferris State University and a Masters in Engineering Management from Western Michigan University.
Jeremy Benson – Program Facilitator
Jeremy is poet, farmer and stay at home dad. He has a wealth of experience in customer service and holds a bachelor’s degree from Hope College.


Taylore Wilson – Student Intern
Taylore is a senior at Albion College. She will be helping us with the Tunnel of Trees Art Trail and events throughout the summer.
