Joanne Stewart – Program Facilitator
Spending 40+ years in Kalamazoo raising a family and working in Independent schools, both in the classroom and as an administrator, Joanne has always found time to be involved in her community. A life-time summer resident, Joanne and her husband chose to make Harbor Springs their home four years ago and now they proudly consider themselves locals. As familiar as they are with the area, Joanne still wanted to find a purposeful way to be involved and joining the Good Hart Artist Residency feels like the perfect fit. Joanne looks forward to meeting the visiting artists and working with our volunteers and community partners to celebrate art. In her spare time, Joanne loves to knit and do other needle work, especially when the north wind howls and she can’t be outside!
