Tunnel of Trees Art Trail

Brought to you by the Good Hart Artist Residency

The Tunnel of Trees Art Trail aims to engage the community in the arts while showcasing the visual fine arts created by local artists along the 20-mile scenic stretch from Harbor Springs to Cross Village.

Local Art Show at the Good Hart Artist Residency
Saturday, August 22 (10am – 5pm) – Sunday, August 23 (10am – 2 pm)

The main event is on Saturday, August 22nd from 10am – 5pm. For a complete listing of all the stops and related events, you can pick up a guide at local galleries, the Harbor Springs Chamber of Commerce, or download an electronic version below.

The art trail is free, thanks in part to our business sponsors. Please support them along the trail.

Due to heavy flooding this spring, there are several detours along M-119 and Lower Shore Drive. Detours are noted on the map, and signs will be in place to guide you to the art trail stops.


The painting classes require advance registration. Be sure to reserve early to guarantee your spot. Registration buttons below.

Art Trail (Saturday 10am-5pm)

Visit artist studios and local arts businesses along M119. Some studios are private property; please be respectful. Saturday, 10am-5pm, free.

Stops are in order from Harbor Springs heading north.

Watch for these signs – marking the stops.

Painting Workshops at Angell Farm

Sign up for a free painting workshop at Angell Farm. Paint breathtaking views with guidance from Susan Glass.

Workshops are free, but you must be registered to attend.

Morning Watercolor Class: 10am – noon

Local Art Show at the Residency (Saturday 10-5pm and Sunday 10-2pm)

Join us at the Good Hart Artist Residency for a special art show featuring the curated work of several local artists. This is a wonderful opportunity to discover artwork inspired by the breathtaking natural beauty of Northern Michigan. Free.
